Turning back into the recent past, a deep sense of belonging and disappointment makes their way into the daily deeds. Right from keying in the stories to searching for ideas to communicating with known people, an unknown experience pervades the self.
When happiness sprouts on thoughts of an overseas visit, an element of sadness rather frustration creeps in, to spoil the gregarious mood. Many a time, the real reason has been elusive, leaving the self to grapple with unseen equations.
As days roll into months, impressions and ideas are treading lonely path even as the mortal world save a few are standing by - to criticise little slips and celebrate bigger falls.
Wish I had an understanding 'presence' who could decipher my inherent inconsistency - similar to a buzzing bee offered the hidden nectar by a swaying flower...

WATER FALLS
Standing near the wooden railings lacing the wet rock formation, I lost myself in the verdant ambience only to be shrugged off by calls to pose for a group photograph. My friends were flocking together to present themselves in the backdrop of the forest to the automatic flashing camera.
The ritual completed, I again slipped into the green silence, devouring the soothing vibes of the 'man-made' Jurong waterfalls. Droplets of water splattered from the hard surface moistened my visage as I stared at the rivulets falling from great heights.
Moments turned into minutes and finally it was time to move on, at least from the sylvian surroundings. With a few images caught in the digital format, we walked away with the guzzling noise fading slowly in the background.
